Stadium of Fire

We weren't supposed to have the girls this year so it was a suprise when the girls called and asked if we wanted to go to Stadium of Fire. They ended up having extra tickets so Danny and I and my brother went. At the last minute their dad decided not to go either so we met them at their grandparents house. It ended up being us and their aunt Megan and her sister Minon and their cousins.

Here is a picture of Miley. I wish so bad that I had a decent camera so that I could have gotten better pictures of her. For this picture I even went all the way down in front and it still didn't turn out

The best part is the para gliders and the Hill Air Force jets.

It was a surprise to have my cousin Jill Stevens (Miss Utah) there to sing the American Anthem. This will be the last time seeing her perform as Miss Utah because they are crowning the new one later this month.

4th of July 2008

We went down to Draper to my parents house for a BBQ. Danny had to stop at the store to get donuts for our little nephew Ayden, because he knows how much he loves them.

For the 4th of July, my mom and I wanted to try this new fruit trifle recipe my sister told us about. It turned out really good and we all thought it looked so festive that my sisters and I were all taking pictures of it.

Danny turns 30

Danny wasn't to excited about turning 30. So I got him the perfect b-day card which says...Nearly everything takes time to reach the best that it can be. So don't think of yourself as older-you're just getting better, you see!!!

Here is what our day was like.

We woke up and went to the track and ran 5 miles.( anything he can do to stay looking and feeling younger). For lunch we went with his parents to Ruth's Diner. It is a great place, I would definately recommend it.

After lunch we went shopping to see if we could find him a new driver for golf, but didn't have any luck. Then Danny and our friend Sam went golfing, while me and Cami drove the carts for them. We were by far the cutest caddies there. It was a lot of fun, but to bad the birthday boy lost by 2. We then decided to go to MacCool's Restaurant and try it out. It was really good. For dessert I got the apple crisp which was fantastic(sorry Sam that I didn't save you any).

We finished off the night at Dannys softball game. It was a close game but finally won 11 to 10. It was a good thing because he probally wouldn"t of liked to loose both golf and softball.
Well Danny I hope you enjoyed your birthday. I have had fun spending the last two days with you. Take me golfing anytime, those carts sure are fun.

Father's Day

I just wanted to let the fathers in my life to know how grateful I am to them. I was blessed to grow up with the best dad ever. He was always there for us and taught us by his example. I am so proud of who he is and what he stands for. Our family has been greatly blessed with him in our lives. I love you dad. Then there is my dear sweet husband who has brought so much happiness in to my life and my childrens. I always said that I wanted to marry someone like my dad and Danny has truly measured up, which is not an easy thing to do. I couldn't of asked for a better husband or father for my kids. He has always put our needs before his own and continues to love us unconditionally. Last of all is my father in law Charles. I always thought how lucky I was to have such a wonderful dad and now I have two. He is so patient and gentle and is such an example of unselflessness. He is always there for anyone who needs him. He has touched Danny's life in so many ways and because of his influence and his love Danny has become who he is today. I am indeed grateful to you. Happy Father's Day to all of you.

This is me with my grandma Critchlow (we call her Flossy). She is always so much fun and loves to play games cuz she always wins.

Nothing Makes Me Happier Than Being Your Wife And Sharing This Wonderful Life With You

I LOVE YOU

You have brought me more joy and happiness
than I could have ever hoped for.

Field Trip to Hogle Zoo

The end of the year I went with Jaidens class to Hogle Zoo. It was fun to see the changes they have made for the animals. We had a fun day. The weather was perfect. We ate lunch there, had ice cream, got to see all the animals, and our favorite was the gorilla who kept flipping us off.
