A Girl's Idea of Fun In Downtown Salt Lake

We had tickets for the Pioneer Day Commemoration Concert with the Osmonds at the conference center, so we got dressed up and headed downtown. Danny wasn't to excited to go but I thought it would be nice to see the Osmonds, especially since it would be the last time they all performed together. We planned on stopping at the Gateway first to eat and do some shopping before going to the concert, but on the way down we found out that we had to be in our seats an hour early and stand in a long line out in the heat. Let's just say we didn't think that sounded like much fun and besides it wouldn't give us anytime at the Gateway. So we all decided that we would go and eat at Thaifoon and let the girls go to Limited Too and Build A Bear since we promised them and then head to the concert and hope we find seats together, but of course we spent to much time at the stores because when we finally got to the conference center we had lost our tickets since we weren't there on time. I have to admit that I was a little glad especially when I found out they were broadcasting it on T.V. anyways, and I know Danny and the girls were glad not to have to sit and listen for two hours. So we headed back to the Gateway to do some more shopping and grab some ice cream. Thanks Danny for being such a good sport.
